Welcome.

I’m Kimberly, a writer, educator, and researcher fascinated by history, human behavior, and small ways we can improve our health and societies.

I’m an associate director at Georgetown University, where I focus on higher education access and affordability. I have a PhD in English Literature from George Washington University and a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Georgetown University. I am a frequent instructor at Politics and Prose, an independent bookstore in DC that attracts notable authors, such Salman Rushdie, and politicians including Barak Obama.

I’m a native of Northern Virginia and daughter of immigrants from Trinidad and Tobago eager to explore more of Caribbean history, food, and culture.
